Our names are Damilare and Tosin Adetayo from Nigeria. We both have been going through different trainings in God's hands, before we met each other. For me as the husband, I made the choice to follow Jesus since year 2000, while in the Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo state and ever since my life has never remained the same; during that time I was involved with a music and drama ministry called "Anointed Squad Ministry" (ASM), leading and organizing different events. As I started growing in the music ministry, I released my debuted album in year 2003, title "Help Me Lord", my wife on the other hand is a daughter of a Pastor and she gave her life to Jesus while in her secondary school days and ever since continue to grow in the knowledge of God. She devoted her life to Christ and was also deeply involved in Music ministry and was once a cell leader while on Campus with her fellowship. After my diploma degree, I decided to do my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Ghana, west Africa in 2005, where I encountered God in various ways and He spoke to me confirming many words that He has spoken to me years back, about becoming a tool in His hands transforming the nations! After my DTS, I did the School of Worship(SOW) 2006, School of Communication Foundation (SCF) 2006, Apostolic and Prophetic School of Ministry(APSOM)2007, all these in University of the Nations(UofN), the university arm of our missions in Ghana and later went to South Africa for my Bible Core Course (BCC) in 2008, School of Apostolic Pioneering (SOAP) 2012, in pursuit of Bachelor of Arts(BA) in Christian Ministries . As at now I have Associate of Arts (AA) in Church Ministries in the University of the Nations(UofN) and hope to complete my BA in Christian ministry soon in one of our satellite campuses. I met my wife in 2007 in Nigeria, she was in her 300 level at the university of Ado Ekiti, now known as (Ekiti state University), studying English and Literary Studies. We finally got married in September 20th, 2008. We both were so much into Church activities and music that we released our first musical album as a couple in 2010, titled "Odun Ayo Mi (MY YEAR of JOY). In 2011, the Lord started expanding our family by adding a lovely daughter to us named Delight Amurewa Adetayo, so delightsome and highly intelligent, meanwhile my wife was working as an administrative/ Finance officer of Skylink Children school, in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria from 2009-2011, she decided to resign her job to follow me full time on mission. During my DTS experience, the Lord started stirring my heart concerning the nations and God specifically spoke to me that he has given the continent of Europe to me and family as our inheritance, "Only ask and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession" Psalm 2:8(NLT), but He said we will need to go to South Africa to be trained and connect to people from other nations before we will actually go in, to possess the land He has promised us. As a result of the promise of God to us, we embark on the journey of going over to South Africa, even though it was a big challenge for us, we saw the hand of God through all the processes of entering into the land. In October 2011, we eventually arrived in south Africa as Missionaries with Youth with a Mission (YWAM), which is an International and Interdenominational Missionary Movement that is worldwide. In January 2012 my wife also enrolled for her DTS and completed it successfully. Our heart is to fulfill the great commission. We are involve in the preaching of God’s word, discipleship programs, organizing a worship event called "Voice of the Nations" serving in Churches , Africa Drum Ministry (as a Therapy) and Outreaches in Primary and High Schools, Street evangelism, Rehab Centers, Prisons, Rural communities and The School of Persons with Disabilities, prayer ministry and Heading Hospitality Department at YWAM Worcester for a season. In February 2013 while still in South Africa, the Lord added another awesome and anointed daughter to our family named Divine Amolawa Adetayo, so smart and full of smiles. We are indeed grateful to God for this wonderful gifts in our lives. Amazingly, in September 2015, God blessed us with our third child so handsome and intelligent and we named him Daniel Adewonuola Adetayo, what a peaceful boy and a huge blessing he is in our family. We served in South Africa for about five years as missionaries. All thanks to Jesus!
PRESENTLY! By the grace of God we finally moved over to YWAM Harpenden England in mid June 2016 to continue with our missionary work. It took us three years of perseverance and walking by faith for the realization of this dream of God in our hearts. Our involvements varies from Discipleship training school, to Street Evangelism, to Kitchen ministry/ hospitality, to Prayer Ministry, to Music Ministry, Serving in our Local Church, to Mercy Ministry and lots more...... We are trusting God to use us in the area of leading outreach teams in Europe and from Europe to Africa and to other parts of the world.
